Gagnon, star of the North American concert circuit and several television specials, will appear in Blyth. Wednesday, November 24 as part of a national tour of mostly major centres. He will be performing at Toronto's sparkling new Thompson Hall the night before his Blyth engage- ment. Gagnon is just one of four attractions on the Blyth series which will begin on Sunday, October 17 with the exciting group Repercussion which was a smash hit at the Contact Ontario conference in Toronto last -October. The" four energetic performers fill the stage with xylophones, bongos, gongs and drums, then in a mad flourish, proceed to beat out everything from Bach to African rhythms, from con- temporary music from Quebec to jazz, sometimes making use of every in- strument on stage. Third event in the series, coming Sunday, April 17 will be the duo pianist team of James Anagnoson and Leslie Kinton who will make Memorial Hall ring with the rich sound of their matching Circus coming On Saturday, June 12 the unique sounds, sights and smells of a real old fashioned tent Circus will seep into the hearts and souls of children of all ages in Goderich as the all new 1982 edition of the Martin and Downs Circus presents two performances at 2 and 4:15 p.m. under the sponsorship of the local Rotary Club.
