The course which attracted people, from all over Huron a) prov s popular county,was designed to give participants a general overview of Law and how it pertains to the working enviroment for employers and their employees. Marks 90th birthday Laura Pollock On Mother's Day, Mrs. Laura Pollock of Maitland Manor celebrated her 90th birthday with a family gathering at the home of her granddaughter, Jo -Ann Yule. She was born on May 10,1892. According to Kennedy the course dealt with contract negotiations, Tort Law on individual rights, Labor Law, the Landlord and Tenants Act and Land Registry. Much of the course dealt with improving employee - employer relations and the interaction of people in the work place, as well as a general • understanding of individual rights. The Canadian Institute of Management will be running a course for the general public on Marketing, in September.
