the Huron -Perth soccer season off in
winning style with a 1-0 victory over

through the second half as Andrew Telford
picked up a free kick by Paul McCartney
and went in to score.
The Goderich juniors got a strong effort
from fullbacks Ed Craig and Lee Frisby
and halfbakcs, Terry. Bean, Mike
McCallum, Geof Chase., and Paul
McCartney. Goderich goaltender, Casey
Vanden Heuvel, playedwell to earn the
sutout. ,
The juniors returned to action this week
with a Huron -Perth league game against
St. Marys Wednesday. The first home
game for the Vikings will be. this Friday;
May 7 at 3 p.m. against Stratford Central.
