Raw milk disease uronview resident dies at age 90 MRS. MINNY KUDOS Mrs... Minny Kudob of R.R. 6 Goderich, formerly of Stratford, died in Huronview on Sunday, May 2 at the age of 90. She was born in Southeast Hope Township to John and Minna (Meideman) Wilhelm. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Kudob, in 1957. She was also predeceased by one son, Allan Dickson and one stepson, John Kudob. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Irene) Skirton of R.R. 6 Goderich;, two daughter -in- laws Louise Filsinger of Ayton, Ontario and Dora Kudob of Stratford; one brother, Karl Wilhelm of R.R. 2 Tavistock; tH1,o sisters, Mrs. Ida King of Stratford and Mrs. Rose OBITUARIES Kells of Mitchell; seven grandchildren; sans three great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Heinbuck Funeral home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford on Wednesday, May 5 at 1:30 p.m. Interment was in the Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. MRS. CAROLINE EVA (BECK) SHAVERP Mrs. Caroline Eva (Beck) Shaver of Hill Top Manor, Nursing Home, Merrickville, died Sunday, April 25 in Community Hospital, Smith's Falls, Ontario at the age of 84. She was born in Goderich en August 9, 1897 to Charles Edward and Sara Jane (Collinson) Beck. She attended Central Public School and Goderich -High School and lived in Goderich and then Toronto and Brantford before returning to Goderich again. She wase a member of St. George's Anglican Church in Goderich. She married Floyd Day Shaver on June 28. 1919 in Goderich. He predeceased her on June 12, 1964. She was also predeceased by one daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Gwendolyn) Mendels of Smith's Falls in June of 1981. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Lenore) Aitken of Hamilton; two sisters, Miss Elizabeth Beck and Mrs. Howard (Jean) McNee, both of Goderich; seven grand- children; and seven great- grandchildren. The body of the late Mrs. Shaver rested at Stiles Funeral Home in Goderich. A funeral service was held at St. George's Anglican Church on Wednesday, April 28 at 2 p.m. The Reverend Robert J. Crocker officiated: Interment was in the Maitland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eric Aitken, Brian Aitken, Clive Sanders and Howard Weir. Charles Nicholas Anstay, the only son of the. late Nicholas and Mary (Ervin) Anstay and Alice Marie. Govier, the oldest daughter of William and Margaret (Buchanan) Govier, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents in East Wawanosh Township May 4, 1932 ,by the Reverend W. J. Mortimore. The witnesses- were Madeline • Walden and Henry Brindley. ' They. have lived all their married life in Goderich. Mr. Anstay retired from Sif- to Salt Company in August 1971. They have two daughters, Yvonne Porter of Goderich and Mary Anne Westlake of Exeter, and two grand- daughters, Shannon and Cheyenne Westlake. They had one son William who was killed in October 1959. A lovely dinner was held at the Legion Hall, followed by a evening of dancing. Guests were present from Bramalea, .0s ' wa,. Seafor= th, Mitchell, Blyth, 'Hensall and. Goderich and area. Mr. and Mrs. Anstay received many lovely cards and gifts.
