Want to paint
numbers on curbs
approximately six inches
high.
Councillor Stan Profit
believed there was merit in
the proposal and asked that
the matter.be referred to a
joint committee of traffic
and works and engineering
for consideration.
"I think this should be
investigated. When you're
walking or in a car during
the day or night, many street
numbers are difficult to
find, Profit said. "There is
merit in the idea and it was
admirable for these fellows
to think of it."
The. joint committee will
make a recommendation to
council on the matter a
future meeting.
