Storm hits barn
LUCKNOW - A fire started
by lightning during a violent
thunderstorm completely.
destroyed a barn on the Ash-
field Township farm of
Bernard O'Neil.
Lucknow firemen were
called out to the November
26th fire, but the barn was
almost completely down by
the time they arrived.
Firemen remained on the
scene for • more than five
hours to prevent the fire
from moving into the silo and
destroying the feed stored
there. This . year's crop of
hay and several calves.were
lost in the blaze. •
This is the second time the
barn on the O'Neil farm has
been destroyed by fire. The
barn burned in 1966 when the
farm was owned by Mr.
O'Neil's father.
Fees for snowmobiles and
historic vehicles are $10,
anywhere in Ontario.
To obtain a sticker,
motorists are asked -to fill
out a licence renewal form
available at all licence -
issuing outlets, MTC offices
and Ontario LCBO stores.
Information relating to the
owner and vehicle, and pro-
viding for a declaration of
proof of insurance is re-
quired.
All non-commercial
vehicles must have a valid
