Maybe the Maitland Trail Association is the answer. In its seventh year of existence, the MTA's pur- pose is to provide areas and trails for foot, ski, or snowshoe travel between Goderich and W Ingham, following the Maitland River and scenic areas as much as possible. Obtaining a membership to the Maitland Trail Association is easy. Adult memberships are $5, families $6. groups $10, students $2, and senior citizens $2. Mail your cheque with name, address, and phone number to M.T.A., P.O. Box 443, Goderich. The M.T.A. executive and directors for this year are as follows: Don Grant, Lynda Postill, Joan Stadelmann, Marg Bushell, Jean Knight, Eileen and Paul Beauchemin, Cindy Fisher, Heinz Hoernig, Briyan Howard, Terry Me lady. This year's winter program includes a pre -ski party on December 5 at John Hindmarsh's cabin at Black's Point; Sunday, January 17 will be the of- ficial opening of Maitland Woods ski trails; Sunday January 31 will be skiing at Boundary Cabin to Saratoga Swamp and back; Sunday February 14 will be skiing and pot luck supper at Lynda and Pete Postill's_ February 26, leave weekend open for out -d - town ski trip to Collingwood vicinity. Sunday March 7, ski outing to Clancy's Cabin in Goderich Township.
