A number of plays and activities are lined up for your enjoyment starting this month. In cooperation with the Blyth Board of Trade which is sponsoring the event, the Myth Centre's December movie will have free ad- mission. The movie is Clarence The Cross -Eyed Lion and will be shown Decembers at 2p.m. The Blyth Festival Singers will present their Christmas in Song concert on Sunday, December 6 at Blyth Memorial Hall) Because of the popularity of the choir's concerts last year, there will be two concerts this year, one at 3 p.m. and one at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale trough the box office, at the Blyth Saga or from choir members at $3 for adults and $1.50forchildren. A limited number of tickets are still available for Tafelmusik's presentation of Handel's Messiah on Sun- day, December 13 at 2 p.m. This baroque orchestra and choly is currently off playing in New York and other U.S. centres sharpening up for its debut in Blyth. They play the iontrnments of the period when Handel was composing to give the music an authentic sound. Close to 40 musicians and singers are involved. This is the last event in Blyth's pre - Christmas season and promises to be a great way to celebrate the Christmas season. Goderich Little Theatre, having just completed a melodrama entitled 'Egad, The Woman In White and a fairy tale for children en- titled In The Court Of The Emerald King, is already planning its final two productions of the season. Both are comedies. In February, it will be Opal's Husband, a sequel to Opal which was staged by GLT a few years ago starring GLT favorite, Kathy Jenkins. In April, it will be Solid Gold Cadillac.
