Goderich jumped out of the gate to an
early 2-0 lead against their opponents from
Forest

remaining in the game, tied the score at 2-
2. The Strathroy tournament has a unique
way of breaking ties. At the end of
regulation time if the score is tied, both
teams pull their goalies, play five aside,
endplay sudden death.
With nearly four Minutes gone and bath
teams fighting it out between the blue
lines, Mark Armstrong stole the puck and
broke in to score the winner.
Every member of the team was
congratulated for an all-out superb effort.
The trophy, was presented by former
Goderich resident and now president of
Strathroy minor hockey, Brian Carrol.
Oldtimers beat Forest 3-1
The Goderich Old Deckhands won a
game in Oldtimer League play here
Sunday, outscoring Forest 3-1.
Forest opened the scoring at 13:29 of the
