at the Maitland Country Club.

The nine o'clock draw. was
won by the Goderich team
skipped by Jamieson Ribey,
vice John McKenzie, second
Don McKenzie, and lead
Court Kerr. Second prize
went •to a rink from.
Vanastra, skipped by Brian
Falconer. Third prize went
to the Goderich team
skipped by Dew Edwards,
vice Gerry Riseborough,
second Dave McAdam, and
lead John MacKinnon.
Consolation prize went to a
rink from Bayfield skipped.

consisting of skip Cam.

Individual trophies were

Atoms salvage 6-6 tie
The Goderich Machinist Atoms salvaged,
a 6.6 tie and came within four seconds of a
win during some exciting Shamrock
League play here Sunday against Parkhill,
Parkhill opened the scoring only 20
seconds into the game and got a second
goal before Greg Alcock put Goderich on
the scoreboard with an assist from Andre
CauchL
Parkhill scored twice again in the
second period to Goderich's once, an
unassisted goal by Andre Couch',
Parkhill scored again at the beginning of
the third period and the game, at 5-2,
looked lost for Goderich. However, in a
remarkable comeback, Goderich scored
four goals in a row to go ahead 64. the
goal scorers were Tim Harrison assisted
by George Sideris; Gregg De Winter.

Richard Bowman and Jmmson Pearson; and
Richard Bowman assisted by Andre

With only four seconds remaining in the
game, Parkhill scored a.goal to tie things

The Goderich Machinist Atoms stan-

The local Atoms will meet the Exeter
Atoms in Goderich this Saturday at 4 p.m.

of the day was the GDCI
students beating the
teachers' team skipped by

score was 14-2. The students
can be sure the winter tests

short against Parkhill
On Sunday, November 22,
the Garb & Gear Novices
came out on the short end of
a 3-2 score here against
Parkhill. -
Goderich led during most
of the contest by a 2.0 store
in a wide open game. Both
Goderich goals were scored
by Mark. Armstrong, the first
unassisted and the second
assisted by lan Bowman.
