The •bride :' was given in marriage by her father; She wore a floor length wedding gown of white polyester silk which she made herself, It featured long sleeves of.. rosebud lace and a • high neckline with a small collar made of the same lace. The long train was attached at the waist and trimmed ln'the same lace. The bride. completed her ensemble with a fingertip lace veil and a gold heart. locket, a gift •from the groom, She carried atrailing silly -bouquet of white car=- natioits and gray • and plum roses withdlefenbachln leaves. Matron of honor was Mrs. Jane McEwen of Kincardine, a friend of the bride and groom. She wore a dusty plum floor length jersey dress with V-neck, thin straps and sheer fitted Jacket. She carried a silk nosegay of grey and plum roses, dusty. mauve but- tercups, baby's breath and picot satin streamers. Bridesmaids were Julie and Shelley Collins of Hit: 3. Goderich, sisters of the bride and Jackie Maclntyre of Mississauga, Cousin of the bride. They wore dusty plum jersey dresses with round necks, thin straps and Meer round capes and carried the same silk nosegays as the matron of honor, Plower girl was Sarah Dauphin of R.H.3 Lucknow. She wore a long sleeved floor length dregs of white eyelet made by the bride. She carried a white wicker basket with silk• flowers the same as the bridesmaids with plum streamers, Groomsman was Scott McAllister of Vancouver, 13,C., a friend of the bride and groom. Guests were ushered into the church by. Henry Sloetjes and Carl Sloetjes of R.R. 7 Lucknow, brothers of the groom and Danny Sloetjes of Luca n, cousin of the. groom. The groom wore a silver grey tuxedo with a- white boutonniere and a gold watch, a gift from the bride. His attendants wore silver grey jackets with slate grey vests and pants and white carnation boutonnieres. Itingbearer was Scott Coleman of Guelph, cousin of the bride. He wore a royal blue velvet suit with a white boutonniere. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at .the Lucknow Com - Inanity Centre. The bride's mother greeted guests wearing •a Street length 'dress of plum shade and a fresh corsage of cream and purple gym- bidium orchids, The groom's mother assisted wearing • a street length dress of various shades of rose and purple and a corsage of purple cymbldium orchids, Por .a wedding trip to the Muskokus, the bride changed to a cream colored silk dress, with browse and gold accessories and a corsage of yellow carnations with gold ribbon.
