Loves •:••• Law Robertson students sell spices The spice sales at Robert- son School are booming! Thankst� all you kids and parents, the total is rising rapidly. Thanks everybody for your support; it goes toward some very good causes.—Craig Smith Class activities The Grade 4, 5 and 6 pupils recently went to the com- munity centre in Blyth to see Jan Rubes explain and sing about music. He is the host of the TV show, "Guess What?" Mr. Scratch's anll Mr. Mc- Connell's grade 5 and 6 classes were visited by the Gideons. Lawrence McKnight presented all the students with their very own personal New Testaments. Mr. Currie's class made a survey of plants and animals in a Fencerow Community. They used a Hoop Study and Surveyor's Line Method to help calculate what plants were the most common. They found a lot of different seeds and discussed dif- ferent ways they might spread. Volleyball Miss Braid has picked the senior girls all-star volleyball team. Mr. Dyck is coaching the senior boys all- star team. The tournament is going to -be held on November 21 at the high school. Cross Country At the Regional Cr oss- Country Meet, Robertson placed first in midget boys, first in junior boys and first in senior girls. Three first place winners were Jeff Boyce, Scott Garrow and Karen Pollock. Pets and more pets For the past week, Mrs. Pepper's grade 1 class has been learning about pets. They are bringing in pic- tures of their .rovls and are frisking bliteffit -Ward I hope they have fun learning about their pets! —Susan Murphy
