PINEAPPLE SQUARES 21 cups crushed graham wafers (keep aside 1/4 cup) To remainder add 1/2 cup melted butter. Press mixture in- to 8" x 12" pan, well greased. Bake at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes. Cream together: '/z cup butter 11/2 cups sifted icing sugar 2 unbeaten eggs Beat until mixture is fluffy. Spread over cooked graham wafers. Drain 1 cup crushed pineapple and mix with '/z pint of whipped cream. Mix together and spread over creamy mixture. Top with 1/4 cup graham wafer crumbs. Refrigerate before serving. Joanne Whitney Dungannon RAISIN TOFFEE BARS 1 cup sifted flour '/z tsp. salt �1 cup soft butter or margarine 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 cup Kellogg's All -Bran 1 cup raisins Sift together flour and salt. Combine butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat well. Stir in All -Bran and raisins. Add flour mixture. Stir until thoroughly combined. Spread in well -greased 9 x 9 in. pan. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees F about 30 minutes or until done. ( Cool in pan or wire rack and frost. ) Janice Rody Vanastra DAD'S COOK1FS 1 cup margarine 1 cup white sugar '/z cup brown sugar 1 egg Cream margarine, add sugar, mix well, add egg. Mix well. Sift together: 1 cup all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda To above add: 1 cup cornflakes or Special K or Rice Krispies 1 cup rolled oats Mix into creamed mixture and space well out on greas- ed cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. Remove from sheet with wide lifter while still warm. Delicious. You can add '/z cup of fine coconut for a little extra flavor. You can use bran flakes in place of corn flakes. This cookie freezes well and is very nutritious as well as being yummy.
