Senior Vikings close
season with win
BY TD

Conference football schedule
Thursday with a 16-0 victory
over the Stratford Nor-

a mud bowl and both teams

could do. The game featured
many fumbles and even the
running games of the two
teams were not effective in
the slippery conditions.
Darryl Beattie went 35
yards on a pass and run play
on a pass from quarterback
Dave MacDonald for a first
quarter touchdown for the
Vikings. The Vikes added a
two-point safety touch in the
second quarter to make the
half-time score 9-0.
. Beattie got his second
touchdown of the day in the
fourth quarter on a 15 yard
reverse.
Rob Plunkett was suc-
cessful on both Viking con-
vert attempts.
