promoting the program,
Good News for Married
Love, and he is a teacher at

Father Prieur's talk was
titled, The Lay Person in the
Church Today. He went on to
explain that a Parish is a
community of the church
with the people and the
Priest administering to each
,other's needs, such as the lay
person working with Pro -
Life, Marriage Encounter
groups, visiting the sick,
teaching Religion; etc.
Being a Christian is based
on five good points: 1.
Always keep our eyes on Our
Lord, remember He is • our
Model; 2. Christian Morality
- always have' respect for
individuals within the com-
munity; 3. Christianity Call
to be Counter - Cultural -
remember good things
people do are. made complete
by things they refuse to do;
4. Our Hallmark of Faith is
:compassion and truth; 5. Our
call is sustained in the Oil of
Gladness - by the Holy Spirit
through Prayer.
Following the conclusion
of the talk, Father Prieur was
thanked most graciously by
Mrs. Betty Frayne and pres-
ented with a small remem-
brance on . behalf of the
League.
