Want crests A request from a local broomball club has prom- pted council to check out the costs of purchasing town crests for use by citizens. A group of Goderich broomballers told council they would like to use the town crest during the season and asked for a $70 donation for uniforms. Council had considered letting the team pay for their own crests but Stan Profit suggested that other groups have received free crests in the past. "The soccer •Club uses it, the Laketown Band uses it and I don't think anyone paid for it in the past," he said. "I don't agree, the town should supply the crests." Administrator Larry McCabe . said the town was over budget in that respect but he willk report to council on the cost of crests. Councillor Jim Searls agreed with Profit and said it was right for council to supply the crests since they advertised the town. 4031''\) \co% Break a balloon with every purchase and win an instant cash rebate up to the value of your purchase. 2 pc.
