TURN YOUR CLOCK BACK ONE HOUR 1 Mid-season blahs plague volleylballers If the theory on the mid- season `blahs' really exists, this was probably the pro- blem with the junior boys' volleyball team this week. The Vikes came home with only two wins and four losses from tournament action in Mitchell on Thursday, where they dropped, clutch games to a weaker Stratford Nor- thwestern team 15-9,15-9. Although the boys played a good defensive game, their usual aggression. at the net was simply non-existent an most plays ended by just giv ing the ball away. The Mitchell team has come on very well since the Vikings first met them and a split decision ensued with the first game going to Mit chell 15-12 and the second to Goderich 15-6. The six-foot six-inch spiker from Mitchell didn't help the situation, even with double blocking at the net. In the final contest of the day, Clinton showed great improvements on the court as well making the Vikings continually fight back. The temporary outstanding court play of Chris Starkey and Kent Feagan carried the boys to a come -from: -behind situation to win 15-12.
