Several residents of the
village living along the
banks of the Nine Mile River
just previous to it emptying
into Lake Huron have had a
problem with a beaver cut-
ting down their 'trees. Roy
Bellinger, a resident of the
village and a Conservation
Officer working out of the
Wingham Office of The
Ministry of Natural
Resources, will check, the
residents' complaints Mon-
day, and it is quite likely that
they will trap the beaver.
Bellinger stated that legally
the beaver can be trapped
commencing on October 25.
