Reverend Donald White of- ficiated at the double -ring ceremony and the lighting of the marriage candle. Mauve, pink and yellow flowers and white candles in silver candelabra formed a background for the ceremony. Dennis Brocklebank of Agincourt, brother of the bride, was organist and Evelyn Brocklebank, mother of the bride sang the "Wedding jIymn" by Handel; The bride; who entered the church .on the arm - of her father as the organist played "Trumpet Voluntary" by Clarke, was given in mar- riage by her parents. She wore the wedding gown worn by her aunt, Joyce Campbell of London and her mother, 30 years ago, and made by her great-aunt, Mabel Gray of Goderich. She looked lovely in this gown of white slipper- satin, fashioned with a tight- fitting bodice, sweetheart neckline and full skirt, ex- tending into a train with lace trim. The tight -fitting sleeves also featured lace trim. She carried a cascade of white roses, pink carna- tions and baby's breath. Maid of honour was San- dra Linton of Agincourt, friend of the bride. Lynne Miller of Toronto, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid. They wore identical full- length mauve gowns and carried. baskets of mauve, pink and yellow carnations and roses. Kim Vincent of Toronto, sister of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. Best man was Stephen Mann of Lucknow, brother- in-law of the bride and guests were ushered by Wayne Adkinson of St. Thomas, friend of the groom. Residents gathered in the auditorium on Monday after noon to listen to Old Tyme Music records. Ceramic class was held on Tuesday afternoon, and the Maitland Women's Institute in Wingham provided the entertainment at the September birthday party on Wednesday afternoon. Pensions to increase Increases in the Old Age Security pension, Guaranteed Income Supple- ment and. Spouse's -Allowance will take effect in . October 1981, Monique Begin, Minister of National Health and Welfare an- nounced,last week. • The basic Old Age Security pension will be increased to $221.74 monthly from the present $214.86. • The maximum Guaranteed Income Supple • - ment for an individual or a married person whose spouse is receiving neither a pension nor a Spouse's Allowance, will be increased to $222.62 from its current $215.72. Added to the basic pension, this will give a per- son receiving both the OAS and the maximum GIS a monthly,total of $444.36. The } maximum Guaranteed Income Supple= ment for a married couple, both of whom are pen- , sioners, will ° increase to $171.64 each from $166.32. Added to the basic pension this will give each married pensioner receiving the maximum GIS a total of $393.38, or $786.76 for the cou- ple. The bride's grandmother, Verna Breckow of Goderich, wore a pink floral full-length gown with a mauve and white orchid corsage. William J. Linfield of Var- na, cousin of the bride; was master of ceremonies. Im- pressive remarks on behalf of the groom were given by his uncle, Sean Kelly of Bramalea. Telegrams were received from Hepworth, Ontario; Grande Prairie, Alberta; and Newbrook, Alberta. For their honeymoon, the bride donned a two-piece pink chiffon dress with satin ribbon trim and a wrist cor- sage of pink and white car= nations. Special guests included thea bride's grandmother, Verna Breckow and her great aunts, Velma Linfield and Mabel Gray, all of Goderich.
