Hunter informed the committee that terms of
reference had been sent to three consultants for their
opportunity to submit proposals to undertake the
master plan. The proposals are to be sent to airport
committee chairman Dick Wright before noon on
October 6. A sub -committee composed of Chairman
Wright, Reeve Don Wheeler and committee member
Bill Finnie will study the consultants' proposals,
conduct interviews with them and make recom-
mendations back to the whole committee.
Hunter explained to the committee that a master
pian is needed at the, airport before any further

government funding can be receiv for large
projects such as the building of. erminal and
parking lot; the repair of the olds way or the
building of a new runway.
Airport members praised the B.I.L.D. program as
almost too good to be true.
"This program is so great, I can't believe it will last
long,';QHunter said. "Fortunately we were one of the
first places to get an application in."
He said, the reason the two B.I.L.D. projects are
being hurried along is to get the government com-
mitted before funds run out.

ment or a corrunission to discuss the problem and
„come up with solutions. Prof. Blackmore is a
member of HUFFI.
At the Toronto meetings, Bill Bremner, a member
of the Toronto HUFFI reported the insulation in-
dustry has already started a fund to assist with the
removal of the insulation.
Turnbull said the future executive will be keeping
in mind the Canadian government allowed the use of
Urea Formaldehyde Foam Insulation in Canadian
homes and therefore it should also help the
homewners.
HUFFI will also be looking into contractors that
are springing up, advertising they will remove the
foam from homes.. Mr. Turnbull said some of the
contractors are overcharging. The Ontario executive
will be examining a price range for the removal of the -
foam insulation.

Turnbull said citizen's attitudes are uriaffected. An
attitude that asks why all Canadian's should be
burdened through their taxes to pay for the removal
of the foam. '
Turnbull's response is if the three levels involved,
federal and provincial governments and the industry,
respond with aid, the cost to the taxpayer will be
minimal.
Turnbull said a financial statement for the Perth
HUFFI will be sent out to members, adding that if
anyone who is affected by the foam and has not joined
HUFFI, contact Phil Brown, 115 Cobourg Street,
Stratford or phone 273-1117.
Grant Chisholm of RR 2, Lucknow, chairman of the
Huron County HUFFI said anyone in Huron County
who is affected by the foam and not yet joined, con-
tact him at 529-7524.
