Saturday, September 5th by
vehicles and people for the

mark the township's 125th
anniversary.
Dances, dinners, sporting
events and special church
services were all included in
the weekend celebration, but
the main emphasis was on
reunions and most families
in the township had a steady
stream of visitors
throughout the Labor Day
weekend.

year and welcomed several new members to the club and executive. The

In August, the retail price
of beef decreased to $2.80per
pound, eight cents less than
the July price of $2.88 per
pound. The farm -gate price
also declined - approximate-
ly one cent to $1.92 per
pound. •
The retail price of pork in-
creased four cents per pound
to $1.95. The farm -gate price
declined this month to $1.11
per pound, four cents per
