Heather Hunter is backin school again because arthritis research is paying off Four years ago Heather. Hunter was an • active student. She played on her high school volleyball' teach, enjoyed outdoor sports, and had a parttime job. Rheumatoid arthritis almost destroyed that active, ,student life. It struck quickly near the end of the 1977 school term. Pain, swelling, and weakness kept Heather from school for almost two' months. Walking became dif- ficult. She was forced to give up her par- ttime job. • That was four years ago. Today, Heather is back in action again.
