She was predeceased by
her husband, W.E. (Andy)
Anderson; three sisters,
Mrs. Peg Stover, Mrs. Betty
Stevenson and Annie
Davidson; „and° one brother
Dave.
She is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Lloyd
(Evelyn) Gurney of Prin-
ceton and Mrs. Stanley
( Jean) Taylor of Ingersoll;
one son, Gordon Anderson of
Brantford; two sisters, Mrs.
Austin ( Adelaide) Fuller and
Mrs. Tom (Helen) Sowerby,
both of Goderich; one
brother, Hugh Davidson of
Goderich; 15 grandchildren
and 27 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held
in the chapel at Thorpe
Brothers' Funeral Home, 96
West Street, Brantford on
Tuesday, September 1 at
1:30 p.m.
Interment was in Forest
Lawn Memorial Gardens,
London.

The Algoport arrived light
on August 25 from St. Joseph
and cleared the next day
with salt for Quebec City.
On August 28, the Algobay
arrived light from Buffalo. It
cleared with salt for Mon-
treal the next day.
The Franquline arrived
beating grain from Thunder
Bay on August 28. It cleared
light for Port Stanley on
August 29.

Hamilton died at his
residence on Saturday,
August 29 at the age of 44.
-He was born in Toronto on
November 22, 1936 to
Howard and Elsie (Robin-
son} ,llue.
He attended G.D.C.I. and
lived in Goderich, Halifax
and had various ship ap-
pointments. He worked as a
clerk and, was with the Royal
Canadian Navy.
He enlisted with the navy
on April 1, 1960 and was
discharged January 28, 1976.
During his 16 years service,
he served on ten Canadian
ships.
He was., an adherent of
North Street United Church
in Goderich.
He is survived by his
mother, Mrs. °Howard
(Elsie) Blue; one sister,
Mrs. Arthur (Mary -Jean)
Coyle; and one brother,
Douglas Blue, all of Van-
couver.
A funeral service and
committal were held at
Stiles Funeral Home on
Tuesday, September 1 at 2
p.m. The Reverend John
D.M. Wood officiated.
Interment was in the
veteran's plot of the
Maitland Cemetery,
Goderich.

Mrs. Edna (Elizabeth)
Bogie of Colborne Township
died in Victoria Hospital,.
Westminster Campus,
London on Friday, August,28
at the age of 67.
She was born in Ashfield
Township on September 8,

1913 to William and Charlotte
(Bennett) Crawford.
She was a member of
North Street United Church,
Goderich.
She was predeceased by
her husband Earl Bogie and
one brother, Harvey
Crawford.
She is survived. by two
sons, Harvey of Colborne
Township and Barry of
Saltford; two sisters, Mrs.
Watson .(Charlotte)
Sheardown .of Goderich and
Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Oke
of Colborne Township; four
brothers, Bert and Ernest
Crawford, both of Goderich,
Leonard Crawford of
Wingham and Clifford
Crawford of Lucknow; and
four grandchildren, Heather,
David, Steven and Wendy
Bogie.
A funeral service was held
at McCallum Funeral Horne
in Goderich on Monday,
August 31 . at 2 p.m. The
Reverend John D.M. Wood
officiated.
Interment was in Colborne
Cemetery, Colborne
Township.
Pallbearers were Graham
Bogie, Tom Brown, Bruce
Robertson, Brian Shear -
down, Ralph Foster and
Gordon Dougherty.
AMY HEARD.
Amy Heard who was born
in Clinton before the turn of
the century died at Huron -
view on August 17th. She was
91 -years -old.
Mrs. Heard was born in
Clinton on August 11, 1890 to
Mr. and Mrs. Homer F.
Andrews. On March 3, 1952
she was married to John

Leonard Heard in Centralia
'and the couple made their
home in Clinton where Mrs.
Heard was a member of the
Ontario Street United
Church.
Mrs. Heard was
predeceased by her husband
and one daughter Mrs.
Albert (Margaret) Shore.
She is survived by three
children, Mrs. Fred
(Evelyn) Sandy, Mrs.
Robert ( Mildred) - Cooper
and Frank. Also surviving
are eight grandchildren and
14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were
held at the Ball and Falconer
Funeral Home in Clinton on
Wednesday, August 19th
with Rev. James Bechtel
officiating. Interment
followed in the Clinton
Cemetery.
The pallbearers included
Homer Andrews, Don
Andrews, Bob Draper, Percy
Brown and Cam Proctor, all
of Clinton, and Harry
McEwen of Chatham.

retirement in 1980.
He was predeceased by his

one brother Kenneth. •
He is survived by five

Dungannon Cemetery.

Lyle.- Clifford Taman of
London, formerly of Blyth,
died at Victoria Hospital,
London on Friday, August 21
in his 40th year.
He was born in Clinton on
July 2, 1942.
The late ,Mr. Taman was
employed with the Safety,
Security and Fire Preven-
tion Department of Victoria
Hospital, London.
He is survived by his
mother„ Margaret Taman of
Blyth; his sister, Mrs.
Delmar (Judy) Sproule of
RR3 Auburn and his brother,
Rick of 'Teeswater.
He was predeceased byhis
father,. Wesley Taman and
one brother, Jinn Taman.
The funeral service was
held at the Tasker Funeral
Home Blyth on August 23
with the Reverend e:-"Wittich
officiating.
