muscular dystrophy at their
recent backyard carnival.
This topped last year's fund-
raising of $72.
Stephen would like to

other relatives for a few days
on their way, via Sparwood
and Surrey, . B.C., to
Yellowknife, where Mr.
Feagan will be in command
of the R.C.M.P. in the North-
west Territories.

Hockey . Association Mid-
western Junior 'B' League.
In the 1979-80 season he

Rookie of the Year and this
„past season he received the
James Bartja trophy as the
team's top goal scorer.

Larry Madge, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Richard Madge of
Goderich, will be entering
the co-op program in
chemical engineering at the
University of Waterloo in
September.
Larry was named an
Ontario Scholar at Listowel
District Secondary School
where he graduated this
year with an average of 86.5
per cent. He was also named
mathematician of the year in
Grade 13. He was an honor
student at Goderich District

electrical transmission in southwestern
Ontario. The study will look at the alternatives
from many points of view, including cost,
wise use of land and effects on the environ-
ment. The goal is to determine which
plan is the best choice, for all of us, and
then to submit a recommendation to
government.
After a plan is approved, further studies with
public participation and hearings will lead to
