Go -Kart controversy
Port Albert is a very uni-
que village with its many
vacationers who have been
coming here for years, . no
doubt because of the style of
life. The decision regarding
go=kart races being held on
the old airport property is an
important decision and it
would disturb the tranquility
of the village.
Warren Zinn, reeve of
Ashfield Township, ,states
that at the next Ashfield
Township Council meeting
on August 4 at the township
hall at 6:30 p.m. there will be
• a public meeting. At that
time, a representative from
Can -Kart Limited in. Rex -
dale will have an opportunity
to present plans on how the
company intends to use the
old airport property, Those
opposing' will also be given
the' opportunity to ask ques-
tions.
