"I don't want people to get the wrong impression because sometimes Katimavik people aren't dressed very well. Their clothing is limited to the kind you wear for physical labor and they don't have many ` clothes because of all .the packing and moving around they have to do," explains co-ordinator Charlene. • Charlene would also like to explain in advance that since two of the Katimavik groups will be rotating from Quebec, some of the members may not speak much English. But they are willing to learn. • As a sponsoring town, Goderich must provide m- teresting and challenging work for the Katimavik participants. Organizing andsupervising this work is a committee under the chairmanship of Elsa Haydon. Committee members include jail curator Harry Bosnell, museum curator Raymond Scotchmer, works and engineering committee)Ihairman Bob Allen, town clerk Larry McCabe and commissioner of works Ken Hunter. Mrs. Haydon'explains that Katimavik means more than free labor for the town. It offers.a learning.and growing experience for young people as well. Ifyou have any questions about Katimavik or want to lend a hand with housing, transporation, furniture or information, leave a message at town hall. Huronview Rev.
