Muncie, Indiana, died
Wednesday, June 10 at the
age of 78.
From 19281 until 1978, he
was associted with
McCormick Brothers Corp.

Mrs. Margaret Irene
Smith of 100 Gibson Avenue,
Goderich many times over
the years and, holidayed
here
He was a member of Quiet
Birdmen and a member and
Hamiltoni, formerly of
Torodo, died in Hamthau.
General Hospital on
Saturday,, June 211 at the age
of 71.
She was born in Max Lake,
Manitoba on September 21,
1909 to John and Rose
(Harrington) Hamilton.
She lived in Manitoba until
theage_of.16 when she moved
to Ontario, living mostly in
Toronto. She had been with
her granddaughter, Mrs.
Jack ( Lynda) McKeough,
for the last few months.
She married William
Alexander Smith. He
predeceased her in 1955.
She was an adherent of the
United Church
Besides her husband, she
was predeceased by one
daughter, Mrs. Jack

I read in the paper today
that an Indian . actress in
New Delhi has been charged
with kissing Prince Charles
in public and has been issued
a summons to account for
her actions, and is also sub-
ject to a fine. This public act
was a boon to royalty. No
doubt she has a moble ave
dience, being an actress, and
was merely conveying her
sentiments to them.
She should have a gold
medal for flaunting the con-
ventions of her country,
rather than be subjected to a.
fine d reprimand. Be it
known that I would gladly
pay her fine and take the
reprimand and frame it, and
hang it on the wall, and

at Stiles Funeral Home in
Goderich on Tuesday, June
7,3 at 11 a,m. The Reverend
Robert O. Ball officiated.
Interment was in Maitland
Cemetery, Goderich

McDonald, Howard.
