The Goderich show, narrated by B111 Thompson of CKNK, included highlights of the "Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saens with verse by Ogden -Nash; a number called "Send in the Clowns" arranged by John Arpin; "Cointertino for Carigna and Orcl Y a" cemposa by Andre Gagnon; and some of the Famous People Puppets including, Liza Minelli, Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Arse Murray, Elvis Presley and of course, Liberace who sang "The Impossible Dream", an appropriate theme song for thetroupe. The Famous People Players arnved in Goderich from Toronto by bus Saturday morning and set up and rehearsed all afternoon. There are hundreds of them and new ones are added every year_ Laeany professional theatre group in Canada, Famous People Players con- stantly has to worry about operating funds (their .annual bielget is $150,000). The company also depends on local groups like the two in Goderich which sponsored their show.
