Council passed a motion

four -times -per -year
collection of school levies.
The motion was passed in
special session of the council
and the letter asked that the
motion be recorded as an

quarterly levy.

of Education has approved
the use of four books for
English courses in two of the
county's five secondary
schools.

HAYFIELD - Kathy flunk-
ing, clerk treasurer in
Bayfield lost her job last
week, following a decision by
the Bayfield council_
Miss Ihmidng, who was
hired in January, was work-
ing under a six-month proba-
tion period and Bayfield
Reeve George Fellows said
that Miss Ilmidng was fired
for. "lack of discretion."
Council's decision was made,
in a closed meeting gild
Reeve Fellows said that the
mattes was of a confidential
nature and would only say
that it dealt with personnel
