It wasn't until the top of

Hotel Bedford. Ron 'balking,

The Hoffrneyer's Little
Plumbers won their first
Ladies Intermediate fastball
game of the season here
Friday night when they
scored four runs .in the
bottom of the eighth inning to
win 4-3 over Shakespeare.
• Shakespeare scored the
first run in diefirstinning to
take a 1-0 lead up until the
bottom of 'the eighth when
the Little Plumber bats
finally came alive.
Diane Snell, Diane Melick,
Minna Walter, and Jenny
More all got on base, with
More bringing Snell home
with her hit. Then Mary
Kolkman =enticed tocentre
field and brought in Melick
and Walter. Sandy Rowe
followed with a base hit to
bring in Marc, giving
Goderich the 4-1 lead.
Shakespeare attempted a
comeback in the top of the
ninth inning and managed
two sons from Deb Bell and
Sharon Scheerer but couldn't
come up with the equalizing

Heidi Elliott pitched the
