Sports page Certificates for returned Muskies Muskies Canada Inc. is a non profit sport fishing club dedicated to enhance the sport fishery for Muskellunge in Canada. As part of their program they are promoting the live release of unharmed- Muskies in order to perpetuate a wild natural Muskie stock whichwe may continue to use as a sport fishing for present and future generations. A Muskie is far too valuable to be wasted or caught only once. Although Muskies Canada promotes release they are not against the angler who keeps a Muskie that they coor..sider to be a trophy, whether it he ten' pounds or fifty pounds. One of the ways Muskies Canada encourages • the release of Muskies by the fishing fraternity is by offer- ing a free special Release Award Certificate. Starting with. the 1981 fishing season . any angler who releases a legal size live unharmed Muskellunge may qualify for a free "ficial Release Award" certificate simply by writing and, stating the following information:- Name, Ad- dress, . Phone, length of Muskie, date released and lake, region or municipality. Benmiller, Chiselhurst win tournament Auburn news Eleanor Iiradntw•k, correspondent Auburn Junior Farmers held their first fastball tour- nament at the Auburn ball park this past weekend. Both' ladies' and men's teams par- ticipated in the round robin event and there were very exciting games throughout the tournament_ The results of the games in the round robin event were: ladies' division - West Wawanosh 7 vs. Seaforth 5; Benmiller 8 vs. Auburn' 2; Seaforth 13 vs. Benmiller 9; Auburn 19 vs. West Wawanosh 2; Seaforth 12 vs. Auburn 9; Benmiller 14 vs. West Wawanosh 11; men's division - Chiselhurst 7 vs. Auburn 0; Seaforth 3 vs. Goderich 1; Chiselhurst 5 vs. Seaforth 0; Goderich 4 vs. Auburn 4; Seaforth 6 vs. Auburn 2 and Chiselhurst 6 vs. Goderich 5. After points were calculated, Seaforth and isfi-7F95 Chiselhurst advanced to the men's fulais and Seaforth and Benmiller advanced to the ladies' final. In the ladies' final, Bemniller took a big lead at the beginning of the game and despite all ef- forts from the Seaforth girls, they could not catch Ben - miller. In the bottom of the sixth inning Benmiller ham- mered in six more runs to make the final score 21 to 11 for Benmiller. The men's final game between Chiselhurst and Seaforth was a fast -and ex- citing game. Chiselhurst scored two runs in the first inning and- Seaforth kept them at this score until the sixth inning when Chiselhurst scored another run.
