CANADA PACKERS CHAMPION QUILT COMPETITION Is held in conjunction with the Annual Convention of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies at the Royal York Hotel, Toronto. RULES: Each local fair is entitled to send ONLY the Grand Championilt (judged best of show of all classes) to the District 8 Annual Meeting Competition_ Quiets"must be at least doubleb'ed'size. ONLY FIRST place quilts from District 8 Annual Meeting are eligible to enter the Canada Packers Champion Quilt Competition. In case where the first prize winner decides not to send her quilt on to the final competition in Toronto, the second prize quilt will be eligible. In addition, prize money of $25 for first place, $15 for second and $10 for third will be given to exhibitors of winning quilts at each District Competition. Entries must he quilted by a group or an individual who is a member of the local • Agricultural Society. Every quilt must bear a tag with its entry number secured to it. before the judging begins. No exhibit shall be removed from the area until the last day of the Annual Con- vention in Toronto. Canada Packers will purchase the winning quilt at the Annual Convention for $600.00 and it will be added to the Canada Packers Quilt Collection.
