BARBECUE TIME
Victoria Day marks the return of creative
outdoor cooking. Almost any cut of meat
can be enjoyed on the barbecue. By using
a marinade before grilling, a Tess expen-
sive cut 'of meat will provide a flavourful
meal. Chicken pieces, beef or pork ribs
are all delicious served with barbecued
fresh fruits and vegetables.
Hints for Your Next Barbecue.
Steaks should be 1/2 inch thick or more.
Turn meats with long handled tongs.
Trim fat to control flareups.
Keep barbecue in sheltered spot, out of
wind.
Line grill with heavy-duty foil for faster
cooking, & easier clean-ups.
A&P have prepared a free leaflet - "Over,
On or Under the Coals", giving advice ort
barbecuing meat; fruits and vegetables.

at the piano and play a song
for friends.
