Peters appointed
to PR committee
Dr. James Peters, Chair-
man of the Goderich Public
Utilities Commission, has
been reappointed Chairman
of the Public Relations Com-
mittee of the Ontario
Municipal Electric Associa-
tion (O.M.E.A.).
The announcement was
made April 27 by Janes D.
Collins, President of the
O,M.E.A.
Dr. Peters will work with
fellow conunissioners from
across the Province of On-
tario for the next year. The
committee will develop
public relations programs
that can be utilized by
municipal utilities, in addi-
tion .to the public relations of
the organization.
The Ontario Municipal
Electric Association is the
spokesman for more than 330
mu-nicipal utilities
throughout Ontario. The
commissioners and coun-
cillors of the member
utilities are elected or ap-
pointed to operate a
specialized municipal. ser-
vice. They represent more
than two million residential,
commercial and industrial
customers served by the
municipal distribution
systems, who consume two-
thirds of the electric power
in Ontario.

The Annual Educational
Meeting of the Huron Perth
Lung Association will be
held in the multi-purpose
room of the Perth District
Health Unit at 7:30 p.m.
The speaker will be Ross
Reid, Executive Director of
the Ontario Lung Associa-
tion. The association's an-
nual report will be on hand
with detailed account of the
activities carried on in the
last fiscal year.
The YHC bantam playoff whiners were the Pin Sharks team and they
received trophies at the annual banquet Friday, April 24. The team mem-
bers are; Ken Webb, Michelle Lanalls and Martin Papple. The front row
