Faced with the discovery of a badly burned bodk whose features had been almost totally obliterated, the Ontario Provincial Police were able, through a significant amount of " investigation and ingenuity, to dete, rrnine °her identity. After the identity had been established, many more days -of intensive in- vestigation were required to piece. together the case to determine the perpetrator of this crime. The investigation led to Texas and sub- sequently to New .York where the accused was arrested. A mixed crowd of over 200 horsemen and fun -seekers attending theseminar, along with donations from all over, helped produce a profit of $3,000 with which a tractor has already been purchased. Sufficient funds are left over to also buy a drag and ripper and some stone dust.
