(Photo by Ca% Wooden) Craig1ien Singers in 'Sound of Go.derkl The Craigellen Singers will be one of four musical groups participating in "Sound of Goderich '81" in the Goderich District Collegiate auditorium on Sunday,, May,24 at2 :30 p.m... By now, this ladies' triple trio, under the direction of Ila Worsell, is no stranger in town. The women have been singing together' for about six years, and this will be their third year of par- ticipation in "Sound of Goderich". The year 1980 provided about the same • busy program as previous years. for the singers. They sang in churches, band shells and halls for senior, citizens, Shriners, . Bay City visitors and, a first for them, Huron County Councillors at the Warden'p Banquet. They especially enjoyed a joint program with the Har- bouraires at Christmas. The singers have been working on new music in preparation for a concert, in Londesboro on May 3 and. "Sound of Goderich '81". In June, they plan to ac- company_the Laketown Band to Bay City for the opening of that elty's new hand shell. On.these occasions, they are singing a varied program, ranging from the beautiful, "How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings" by Liddle to a "Fantasy on Nursery Rhymes" by Leslie Bell, all planned for the enjoyment of the audience.
