A beautiful Spring Day
and looking back on the hap-
penings in the past week,
Huronview people have been
busy, with Rev. Wittick
leading off with the Sunday
morning service. Accom-
panied by Mrs. Elsie
Henderson at the organ, -the-
choir sang the anthem Lead
Me Saviour. Next' Sunday
Rev. Bob , Scott will be
preaching the service.
Monday evening, Debbie
Flynn honoured residents br-
inging her dance students for
an evening concert.
Marie Flynn led her musi-
cians into : the Peek-a-boo
Waltz, Lamplighting Time in
the Valley and .the Wreck of
the Old 97, Kerry Cox did a
step dance to My Love Is But
a Lassie Yet. Beginners Jen -

Model moves to beach

but along with sun, sand and

operates a , modelling and
talent agency in Toronto,
was featured over six pages
in • the . March issue of
Playboy. She and her
husband Derek Penney
purchased a lakefront home
in the Southcott Pines area
of ,Grand Bend and plan to
-spend most of the summer
months there.

Hour concluded the program
after the Grand Finale.

ding of Perry Teichert and
Betty Lynn Sowerby.
The bride is- the daughter
of Donald and Dawn Sower -
by of Colborne Township and
the groom is the son of Karl
and Ursula Teichert - off
Goderich.
The Reverend John D. M.
Wood of Goderich officiated
at the,touble-ring ceremony.
Mrs. .Wanda Keith and
Glen Linner, accompanied
by Glen on guitar sang If,
The Wedding Song, and the
Greatest Gift. Paul Howe of
Goderich was the organist.
Given in marriage by her
parents, the bride wore a
long white gown with round
yoke • and little 'stand-up col-
lar of Mexican lace and
three -quarter -length sleeves
with lace cuffs. The skirt had •
a lace bonier and . a Juliet
cap held heematching lace
veil. •
She carried a cascade bou-
quet of red roses, white car-
nations and lily of the valley.
Mrs. Lynn Rumig of
Goderich,. aunt of the bride,
was matron of honour.
Bridesmaids were Miss
Brenda Sowerby, sister of
the bride and Mrs. Petra
Johnson, sister of the groom.
They . wore long Wedgwood
blue -,gowns; with blue lace
yokes and stand-up collars.
They carried nosegays of
r pink carn lti s, shdsta
'daisies and babes breath.

Kimberley Johnson, niece of
the'grown and Trisha
Rudtig, cousin of:the bride.
They wore long. wedgwood'
, blue gowns and carried
small nosegays the same as
the senior attendants.
Groomsman was Peter
Teichert of Goderich,
brother of the groom.
Guests were ushered into
the church by Brian Sower -
by, the bride's brother and
David Johnson, brother-in-
law of the groom.
The groom and his atten-
dants all wore navy blue tux-
edoes.
Receiving the guests at the
White Carnation for a recep-
tion following the wedding,
the bride's mother wore a
vanilla street -length dress
with a corsage of pink
sweetheart roses." The
groom's mother . chose a
wine street -length dress with
matching jacket and corsage
of pink sweetheart roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Teichert are
residing in Toronto.
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was guest of honour at
showers given by Mrs. Don-
na Sowerby and Julie; Mrs.
Lynn Rturng, ,Mrs. Doris_
Patterson and rs. Donna
Snyder; Mrs. Brenda
• Teichert; and by the Ben -
miller community.
Art experience classes
offered by. Mulhern
Mona Mulhern, a local
artist, is offering art ex-
perience
xperience classes for students
through the Goderich
Recreation Department
starting Tuesday, April 7. ..
The classes will be held at
the Serrenwood Studio, .58
Elgin Avenue West and will
be organized according to
the ages of studentsk There
will be Tuesday a ening
classes from 7-8:30; Thur-
sday afternoon classes from
45:30; and Saturday mor-
ning classes from 9:30-11. .
The cost .is $36 for eight
weeks and students are
responsible for their own
supplies. Lessons will last
one and half hours per week.
Registration forms ; are
available at the Goderich
Recreation Department.
The classes will provide
stUthints with the op-
portunity to experiment and
create using various
drawing and painting media.
