The Branch public
speaking contest will be held'
to the Jubilee Room : en.

commencing at 7:30 p.m.
The duplicate ship's bell of
H.M.C.S. Goderich; which
was donated to the Branch
by the town, will be per-
manently installed ip the
Jubilee Room.
Permission was also
granted to place. R.C.N.V.R.
plaque in the Jubilee Roan
in memory of Comrade
Barney Davis.

invite the Clinton pipe band
to join the Branch colour

A motion was passed to
purchase a new and more
efficient cash register for the
lower lounge. The present
register will be put to use in
the Vimy lounge.
The sum of $1,000 was
donated to the local senior
citizens' centre.
It was decided to donate a
remote controlled television
set, through the muscular
dystrophy associatlori, to a
local youth suffering from
this disease.
