In a recent decision, the Ontario Supreme Court put the onus on the crown to prove the owner of the vehicle was the person who illegally parked it. That decision is almost impossible to enforce and an appeal is expected. In the meantime, offenders were advised to simply hang on to their tickets and not submit payment until a decision is made on the appeal. But Police Chief Pat King says that isn't the case in Goderich and that parking tickets issued here are enforceable. "Some people maybe holding back on parking tickets because of the ruling brit our bylaw is correct," he, said. 'Our tickets are perfectly valid because of the wording of the bylaw-" The bylaw is pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act after it was amended. So it doesn't look like parking offenders are going to get a break here. 1 WIIV WEIGHT WATCHERS DONATES 252 PER MEMBER PER WEEK DURING FEBRUARY TO THE A TRIP FOR TWO, IN THE WEIGHT WATCHERS GET AWAY CONTEST a HEART FUND WEIGHT WATCHERS WILL DONATE TO THE HEART FUND 25d EACH WEEK FOR.
