The hockey player, a member of the Brussels Midget team was hurt when e crver-sen he slammed. into the boards after taking a shot on the Seaforth net, resulting in the back injury. Francis Hicknell of RR 5, Seaforth, a spectator at the game, said Mr. McArter had a breakaway and seeped to lose his balance, after taking a shot on' the Seaforth goal. These members of the Goderich Figure Skating Club won first place trophies in the free style category at the club's amival Trophy Day on Saturday, January 17. Butterick's patterns were so superior that in one year alone, six million were sold. In 1921, McCalls in- troduced patterns printed with cutting, marking and sewing guidelines. In 1968, a uniform standard for sizes was adopted and selecting the correct size became easier than ever before. Would you believe com- puter fitted patterns -are now available? As many as 17 measurements are made of a figure. "Plotters" trace a custom -pattern;,needing no adjustments w.hatsdever. The only problem is, the pattern is good only so long as the. owner's . weight -remains the same. A nurse in attendance at the game went- out to the player immediately and stayed with him until the ambulance arrived. Mr. McArter was then taken to Seaforth hospital and later a transferred to London. Jerry Wheeler, coach of the Brussels team, said that his player seemed to go backwards into the boards, hitting his back, after a Seaforth player caughthim on the breakaway.
