GODERICH RESTAURANT & STEAK HOUSE 42 WEST ST. TRY OUR FAMILY STYLE DINING EACH AND EVERY WEEKEND Helpful hint An ill person who is confined to bed at home and too ill to sit up at mealtime can still enjoy a nourishing meal in liquid form. Most foods can be made into a thin slurry with use of a blender. The slurry and soups, milk, tea, etc, should be poured into a cream pitcher. The lip on the pitcher will stop the liquid from dribbling onto the bedclothes and makes it easier to drink than from a cup. A glass or plastic straw can be used for sipping non-food liquids.
