McLean scores three in Sailors'win
The Goderich Sailors
played the Lucknow Lancers
to a win on Friday night,
outscoring them 10-4.
Tim McLean got a hat
trick in the game to lead the
scoring, while Ken and
Kevin Meriam each netted
two.
The Lancers took an early
lead in the game with Grant
Clark beating Sailor gbalie
nnis Fleishaver at 1:29 of
the first period. Ken Meriam
opened the scoring for the
Sailors five minutes into the
second period with a short-
handed goal.
Two eaals followed in the
next two minutes from Kevin
Meriam and .McLean. Pat
Murray scored for Lucknow
at 11:29 to make it 3-2:
however Ken Meriam an-
swered with his second goal .
at 16:05, assisted by Dan
