Scott, 84 Waterloo Street South in Goderich at 8 p.m. This will be the final meeting of a series of four. The topic for discussion will be, . "Nutrition and Weaning". The last meeting on December 10 was not well` attended due to inclement weather. Therefore, some Bridge scores There were eight tables in Goderich Bridge Club play Tuesday night with the average score being 72. Goderich newcomers Daphne and Bill Davidson recorded a win on the East West side with 82 points. John Donatis and John Wood placed second with 77, and Auleen Curry and Jean Papernick came in third with 751 points. On the North South side, Gold Rutledge and Rick Somers combined to win first with 891/2 points,, Joanne Duckworth and Lee Ryan had 001/2 to win second. In the third place with 791/2 points was the team of Marg Hall and Vick Alexander. Ml1..1. Although the topic for the meeting is pre-set, there is always time to' discuss solutions to particular problems a breastfeeding aalother niay -be en- countering. Many opinipns are shared and often snntlar experiences are recounted. After the meeting, there is a social time where people who attend can get to -,know each other better or continue discussions. Instead of the usual cookies -and cake, there will be a selection of hot cereals. People who are planning to attend are asked to bring a topping that does not contain sugar. The mothers can then try the different com- binations. Available at the meeting is an excellent loan .library containing many books on nursing, mothering, child care; childbirth, etc. Pamphlets are also available. Babies —are- always welcome at La- Leche League meetings, as well as any woman interested in lear- ning more about the art of breastfeeding.
