" On Sunday afternoon, June 14th St.
Joseph's Community School hosted the
Bluewater String Violin Recital.. The t'o.-
ordinatorti of the program were Betty Lou
1)alton and Mary Gould. The accompanist
was Marianne Hogan. Students from the
parish community who took part were
• Bridget Mogan, Lisa Dykstra and John S.
Dalton. Also taking part from the communi-
ty was Wesley 'Drennan. The children's in,
stricter from London is Elayne Ros. The
program was greatly enjoyed by all and this
children are to he congratulated on their
fine efforts and work.
At the school the'students are eagerly an-
ticipating their dismissal for the summer on
Wednesday morning, ,lune 24th. Perhaps
not so eagerly they are also anticipating
receiving their final report cards. .' •
On Wednesday. June lith the students
from Kindergarten to Grade 7 were
videotaped by a member of the Royal Cana-
dian Legion as part of a child safety
program.

It is,. with regret that the school communi-
ty has learned of the resignation of Mr. t:n-
nis Murphy from :the Huron -Perth Board.
Mr..Murphy very capably serVed as prin-
cipal and part -tinge teacher of the Grade :1-4 '
class this past school year. We wish him all
the best in the future and God's blessings as
well.
