Goderich area. Decorte, in the final year of her two year materials management course at
Conestoga College, Guelph, is employed as a MRP auditor at Champion Road Machinery for
the summer. This. week is• Hire a Student Week and many area businesses have hired
students including: Stolland's Who hired Shelley Teal; Sheaffer Pen -Textron wifo. hired In-
grid SchuurmanInd Whirley Whip who hired a number of students including Dawn Bott-
cher. Janice Dunbar, supervisor of the student employment centre in Godserich said there
have been 1242 post -secondary, secondary and elementary studentsregistered at the centre
for 498 vacencies a vacancy is title student for one job for a few hours .of for the summer)
and 397 placements. The types of jobs includeagriculture, personal services, accomodation,
• food and beverage and manufacture.and construction. Salaries range from minimum. to $8

were guests itf the Benmiller Foresters at a
Steak Barbecue last Thursday evening,,
June 18. The two clubs haVe been getting
together for an evening of fun & fellowship
for many years. -
Following the consumption of a delicious
meal and a Short rest, the two,elubs met on
the ball diamond for their annual ball ganie.

Fur five Huron County 4-11 members and
one hundred others from across Ontario,
June 20 to June 26 will be six of the best
days of their life. They are attending Pro-
vincial 4-H Leadership Camp near Hunt-
sville. Leadership Camp is undoubtedly
one of the greatest opportunities offered in
the 4-H program.
While the program is aimed at develop-
ing the leadership skills uf the delegates,
the 4-H members learn a lot about
themselves. It is an experience that lasts a
lifetime, Jennifer Sanders, Brussels;
Craig. McN.eir, Goderich; Heather McIn-
tosh; Brussels; Laurie Pentland,
Goderich; and Cindy', Stine, Brussels were
selected as Huron County's delegates,

The meeting was opened by the presi-
dent Mrs. Jean Errington, with the
reading -Responsibility",
Meditation was given by Mts. Willetta
McWhinney. Roll Call folltiwed - answered
by miracles of the old Testament. Collec-
tion was taken and dedicated to "God's
Use."
Mrs. Jean Errington introduced,
Reverend John Williams, who spoke on the
role of women - in the church, and all
through the bible. He read from Genesis
16. Where Hagar bore Abraham a son
Ishmael Genesis 21. Sarah bore Isaac. He
also read from Genesis, •25 verse 12 and .
Galatians 4 :21'which compares Hagar and •
Sarah, He explained the situation mention-
ed in the passages. •
Mrs. Jean Errington presented Rev.
Williams with a, gift of a Dungannon •
Church plate and thanked him for corning
to the meeting and leading our bible study.
The treasurers •report given by Mrs.
Helen hawson, and she also .announced
that there was a box of books prepared for
('any M,enesetung„ •
It was also mentioned that Alma Col-
lege., is on Aug. 8th, and more information
will be given on this event. Then Jean Err-
ington read "To Many Things Are These
Days" which concluded our meeting.
Grac•e was sung, and a lunch Was served,
