Debbie Kerr learned a few valuable
lessons last Wednesday morning.
First, she learned her initial instincts
about flying were correct; it's terrifying
and secondly, she learned never to issue
a challenge to Gus Chisholm.
Chisholm, a well-known local aviator. •
jokingly inquired of•Kerr, a waitress at
Joe's Landing, if she would be willing to
hire Chisholm, as a waitress if he wore a
dress. Without giving the matter ample
thought, Kerr said she'd not only hire
Chisholm but she would even go for an
airplane ridelsomething he'd been unsuc-
cessfully trying to talk her into for mon-'

ing" but unknowingly issued the
challenge to the wrong man.
