Canadian Tire scored 14 in the last two innings to seal a 23-4 win over the Cosmos but later lost it in the seventh to Lakeview Ranchers by an 11-10 margin. Murphys Law outlived their B division status with a 17-2 loss to Suncoast and a 23-6 loss to Lakeland. Chisholm TV edged Little Bowl 18-16 but lost to Boyes 15-7. Gators, playing strong defence of late, lost to Lakeview 11-2 and to Parkhouse 28-6 in five. Home Hardware blanked Dear"born. 10-0, Coyotes beat the Raiders 15-9 and the Bulldogs mauled the BBs 22-1 to round out the scoreboard. Twenty six more games are scheduled. for this week. For a league .of this size, all things are running smoothly at the present ( though not perfect). Bridge contest worldwide The second Epson Worldwide Bridge Contest was played on Saturday, May 16 and the C' derich pairs of Dawna Sproule and Marg Hall, Rev. John Wood and Aelian Weerasooryea, and Mary Donnelly and Eleanor Erskine travelled to Sarnia and Owen Sound and scored well in their divisions ()n ,lune 9th Eleanor Erskine was the director for a seven table game and the winners were: North/South: first - Tom Eadie and he Martin, 84 points; second - Eveline McDonagh and Frank Donnelly, 78.5 points, third - Eleanor Erskine and Ralph Kingswell, 77.5 points.
