Hitting dominates last week games.
On Monday, June 8, Hayter's beat up on
Sherwood 8-1 in five innings. Andy Moore
and Myles Murdock each had two RBI's and
Mike Donnelly scored three tinges and had
an RBI to lead Hayter's offensively. Hayter
pitcher Dave Scholl pitched superbly allow-
ing three hits, a run while striking out five.

In the second game the Orioles
destroyed Dynamos 11-1, The Orioles
jumped all over Dynamos pitching as they
scored four runs in the first, five in the se-
cond two•more in the fourth. Paul Jewell
pitched a three hitter, walked one, allowed
one run and struck out six to get the win.
Steve Frayne went 3-3, scored two runs
and had four RBI's and Bob Graham went
2-3, scdred twice and had three RBI's.
On Tuesday, Kirkey's 'hammered the
Juniors 8-0. Kirkey pitcher Dean 1''lriki
pitched a two -hitter and struck out six 1n
earning the shut -out win. The Juniors oil}
allowed seven hits but • Kirkey's made '
them count.
In the nightcap, French defeated
Denomme's 9-2. Kevin Jewell hovered Co
lead off the game and Bob Johnston hod a
three run homer to give French a • win.
George Sutton scored three runs, had an
RBI to support the offense. Don Bogie
allo*ed three hits and struck out ten.
On Wednesday, Goderich Tire beat the.
Orioles 12-3.: They scored four times in the
second, once in the third and eleven titncs
in the fourth..Brian 'Johnston went three
for three and Mike Ryan and Dana Doher-
ty each, went two for three.
.Laster that night.Denommes won a close
2-0 game over Merner-Haugh. The pitching
was excellent as Gary Muxlow allowed only
one hit, a one out single in the seventh by
Doc Miller.. Denornme's- scored their only
runs in the' third. John Hoy reached an er- '
ror, Barry Block singled him in and Jim Bell
,singled Block in to make it 2-0, Merner-
Haugh pitcher Ken Daer only allowed three
hits. MuxloW struck out eight in getting the,
win.
In the first game Sunday, Goderich Tire
' defeated the Juniors 4-0. They scored three
runs in the first and added another in the
fourth. John Bogie allowed four hits in get-
ting the win. Darryl Black gave up five hits
to Goderich' Tire but they carne when
• needed.
Lathe second game Kirkey's won a cli>,tie
2-1 game over French. .Kirkey's scored the'
only runs they would need in the first inn-
ing. Paul Kelly singled and scored in. John
Lehery's ,single and' scored on Paul
Bartliff's Single. After this, French pitcher
-Don.Bogie didn't. allow a..hit,..and.:ende,d..up.,_..
with seven strike outs and allowed three'
hits. French scored their only run• in the
third when Paul Brown singled and scored
on • Ed Johnston's groundout. Terry
