NIR.REGINALD FRANK POOLF
Mr. Reginald Frank Poole of Goderich,
died at Alexandra Marine and General
Hospital un Tuesday, May 26 at the age of
61. •
Born in Alborborough Township on
January 22, 1926, he was the son of the late
George Poole and the former Ada Lamb
and step sun of the late Harold Liddle of
Wheatley.
He was a corruuercial fisht.rrnan and
was a nlenll,er of the Royal Canadian
1,egion Branch 109., Goderich.
Surviving are his children Sandi (Mrs.
Larry Beaudoin) of Wheatley. Randy of
Chatham and 'l'an,uni of Wheatley, his
brother George of Wheatley and three
grandchildren Shauna, Randy and Jerrad.
;1'he funeral service was held at the Me-'
Callum and Palla Funeral Hoene onMrs-
day, May 28 with Rev. Robert J. ('rocker of
St. George's Anglican Church officiating.
Royal Canadian Legion and Ladies Aux-
iliary to Branch 109 Goderich held a ser-
vice on Wednesday ovening,
Pallbearers wore Ed Turner, • Ken
Lessard, Martin Derbyshire; • Clayton -
Larder, 1)on Henry and Leroy Gowanl.ock.
Interment at Maitland Cemetery with a
Veteran's plot.
MR.FRANCIS JOHN CHASE
Mr.Francis John 4l1ase of Stratford
died at Stratford General Hospital on May
25 at the age of 66.
Born in Port Colborne on June 30, 1920,
he was the son of the late Herbert Basil
Chafritratad the former 1,aura Belle Mott.
He was a Registered Nursing Assistant
at Stratford General Hospital and had
been for 25 years. He was a member of the
Army, Navy and Air Force Club, Sergents'
Mess Perth Regiment Stratford.
,Surviving are his wife, the former Irene'
Edith ( McKay) Huckins; step daughter

Michael, on' May 17, 1987 at 12:15 a.m.
weighing 10 lbs. 4 Ozs. Proud,grandpar;ents
for the sixth time are Bill and Marie Park
and for' the ninth time Lloyd and Doris
Hodges, all.of Dungannon. Special thanks to
Doctors .Cauchi and Neal and all the nurses
of second floor east for their special care
and help, especially Joanne Ducharme for •
her extra help during my delivery.

Sholdice made his grand entrance at Clinton
Public Hospital on May 5th at 5:38 p.m.,
weighing' in at 7 lbs: 4 ozs. Proud first-time
grandparents are Don and Brenda Scott, se-
cond grandchild' for Gary ,and Barb
Sholdice. .Great grandparents are Russell
and Verna Sholdice, Laurie and Dorothy

Noreen I Mrs. Jaynes McPhee) of
Goderich, Donald McKay of London, Ken-
neth McKay of Stratford and Mrs. Ramona
Bickerstaff of Kingston. One great grand-
daughter and four grandchildren also
survive.
Also surviving are two brothers Harold
and William Chase both of Goderich and
two sisters Vera l Mrs. David Medley) of
Stratford and Barbara I Mrs, Paul
LaPierre) of Kitchener.
He was predeceased by his brother
Donald and sisters Helen, Virginia and
Gertrude.
The funeral service was held at Mc-
Callum and Palla Funeral Horne on '1'hur.s-
day, May 28 with Reverend Robert
Schroeder from St. Paul, Stratford.
Pallbearers were nephews Gerald
Rivett, Malcolm Stewart, Paul LaPierre
Jr., Chris Medley, John Medley and Brad
Chase.
Interment at Colborne Cemetery.'
MR. RAY PEARSON STODDART SR. -
Mr. Ray Pearson Stoddart Sr., of Lon-
don, died at University Hospital on Mon-
day, May 25 at the age of..58.
Mr, Stoddart retired from Kellogg's, in
1985 and is beloved'husband of Mrs. Helen
(Stacey ) Stoddart.
4,He• was the dear father of Mrs. Wendy
Stephenson and her husband -Danny, Ray
. Pearson Stoddart Jr.. and his wife Gail and
Randy David Stoddart all of London. Mr.
Stoddart was the loving grandfather of
Kelly ' Ann' Stephenson and Courtney
Elizabeth Stoddart; brother of Bill Stod-
dart, Mrs. Clare (Myrtle) Kennedy and

He was predeceased by his parents
David and. Ethel Stoddart, brothers Carl,
Bob and Russell and sister Ruth.
Visitations were at the Needham
Funeral Home, London and the funeral
service was on May 28 at St. George's
Prebyterian Church with Rev. J.D. McIn-
nis officiating with the interment held at
Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
HARVEY ALEXANDER MacDOUGALL
Harvey Alexander MacDougall, of
Bayfield, died at University Hospital in
London on Monday, May 25 at the age of 82.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, on'•May 4, 1905,
he was the son of the late Roderick Mac-
Dougall and the former Rose Smith. His
wife, the former Doris Soden of Bayfield,
survives.
Mr. MacDougall .was employed with Co -
Operators Insurance as Divisional
Manager until his retirement. He was a
member of St. Andrew's United Church in
Bayfield.
Surviving besides his wife are: sister
Blanche ( Mrs. Jack 'Needham) of
Lucknow; brother Lloyd MacDougall of
Lucknow; and Clair MacDougall of
Mississauga. Five nieces and two
nephews, and several grandnieces and.,
nephews also survive.
Mr. MacDougall was predeceased by
one brother Russell of Wells, B.C., and his
parents.
Visitation was held at the MacKenzie
and McCleath Funeral Home in Lucknow
on Tuesday, May 26. A memorial' service
from St. Andrew's • United Church in
Bayfield was held on May 27 with Rev. J.
Hoekstra of St. Andrew's United Church in
Bayfield officiating. Interment in South
Kinloss Cemetery.
parents are Pat and Leslie King, Goderich•
and Marcel and Diane DeWinter, Goderich.
Proud first-time great. ,grandparents are
Frank Walsh,' Stratford, Lou and Audrey,
Cundari, St. Marys, and Gas and Annie
DeWinter, Tillsonburg.
