In the grade six class, Japan is the thing. 'l'he grade sixes have been very busy at stu- dying Japan. They are also shaping up for track and field which is on May 27. Interest has been shown by some classes in measuring the levels of sound. One of the items tested was • a ghetto blaster which reached 104 decibels, the same amount of sound as an accelerating motorcycle. Grade 7B Mr. Spittal's class had a very successful garage sale making over $200 for the class trip to Camp Sylvan.
